CEO Martin Brok Departs from Sephora

Chris de Lapuente returns to the helm of Sephora after a stint as the chairman and CEO of LVMH’s selective retailing division.

Ex-Starbuck’s Corp. president, Martin Brok, who was named president and chief executive officer of Sephora in September 2020, is set to leave the beauty retailer at the end of June after almost two years.
 
According to an internal release obtained by WWD, Brok’s departure is “due to a divergence of views.”

Prior to Starbuck’s, Brok’s experience includes serving as VP of Global Product and Merchandising Operations and Analytics at Nike, and  several years at Burger King Corp. and The Coca-Cola Company.

Chris de Lapuente Returns as CEO

Chris de Lapuente, the chairman and CEO of the selective retailing division of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, who also oversees the group’s Perfumes and Cosmetics activities, will resume the position of president and CEO of Sephora. De Lapuente was CEO of Sephora for a decade before handing the reins over to Brok in September 2020.
